Includes the Socially Speaking game, Socially Speaking book and Social Skills Stickers Sets 1 and 2.

The Socially Speaking book will help you to introduce and practise skills your pupils need to develop and maintain relationships and to lead independent lives outside the school context. It is a unique social skills programme that lasts a whole school year and is divided into three units: let’s communicate, let’s be friends, and let’s practise. As pupils progress through the carefully structured programme, their self-esteem will increase and their listening skills and expressive language abilities will improve, and in turn everyone will benefit from enhanced social interaction.

Contains 150 A4 pages, including photocopiable illustrated worksheets and assessment and evaluation forms.

Age suitability: 7–11 years and older children with SEN.

The brilliant Socially Speaking board game teaches and reinforces social skills in a fun way. Designed to complement the Socially Speaking book, the game focuses on social interaction in three key areas: home, school, and the wider community. Children are given the opportunity to practise vital skills such as listening, turn-taking, asking questions, making telephone calls and conveying emotions. Ideal for 3-6 players.

Contains game board, 100 question cards, playing pieces, teacher's notes.

Age suitability: 7–11 years and older children with SEN.

The Social Skills Stickers Sets focus on essential social skills and can be used to recognise and reward social awareness in pupils and boost their social skills. Social Skills Stickers Set 1 has been designed to develop and reinforce the skills learnt in the Time to Talk and Socially Speaking programmes, and Set 2 is particularly suitable for use with Socially Speaking and The Friendship Formula.

Both sets contain 96 stickers in 12 designs. Stickers are 30 mm in diameter.
