This set contains a selection of 64 rods numbered 1-10 and is ideal for smaller groups of children. Each rod has a number on one side and a corresponding number of dots on the reverse side. The rods join together with ease, and tackle a number of different mathematical areas such as addition and subtraction, and multiplication and division. Each rod is colour coded to represent a number, with the longest rod (number 10) measuring 20cms long x 3cm wide. All rods are chunky and appeal to young Maths learners. The set also includes 20 x A5 cards designed to be used with the connecting number rods using numbers 1-20 in the question. There are 10 addition and 10 subtraction colour-coded cards. Each card has a question on the front and the answer with images of the connecting number rods on the reverse.
