Teach basic 1-10 counting skills on one side of the fan which features consecutive numbers and a corresponding number of dots to teach simple counting and recognition that numbers can be expressed in different ways. On the opposite side are double digit numbers which can help to teach an appreciation of tens and units and form a basis for learning about addition of different values.
